| not attacking. We just would like to send our congrats for Can team. Best Game. Best Play. We are flamous against the referees in the 1st period. But, finally, we did our job. Good goals - 4 to the Nabby's area. But, we needed for the Gold much more. And we took it. Wishing to IIHF more such games in the future!!! |

Yes indeed congrats to Canada too! Canada is always on the top. Amazing team indeed. Referees were totally blind for Canada's tripping in the 1st period. Many thought the game is over after the first period.(thanks to the referees)Why the both referees came from Sweden? For ice hockey the victory of Russia was of great importance. Seeing one country (Canada)winning each year the ice hockey tournaments was making the tournaments pretty boring. Wishing to see some surprises one day. Let's try to change the rules in a such way that small nations, let's say Germany or Italy could bring the gold home one day! That would be great for ice hockey. Sure Canada is a true hockey nation with the great National Hymn O Canada Next time we could be listening to http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1338792yG8bMJ9g (with lyrics) |

| Fan of good hockey , not a fan of tripping or fault game. Talking is cheap. Show me the game, I will show the failures of the referees. Thanks! further reading for Swedish referees http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penalty_(ice_hockey) http://www.ehow.com/how_2155097_get-trippi...ice-hockey.html |

Hockeyjoe - you are correct. Don't argue with people who blindly believe their team is god and won't face the truth. And the truth here was that, despite aweful, aweful refereeing, Russia composed itself after 1st period and came back to win the game against Canada, who thought they had it in the bag. And if you need any more evidence about referee bias, just look at how long they discussed whether to send Nash out for delay of game? If Russians would have done that, they would have been out in a sec (just as it was called on them twice, mind you, in the first period). Ohhh, RUSSIAAAaa!!! |

| "despite aweful, aweful refereeing, Russia composed itself after 1st period and came back to win the game against Canada" that's exactly what makes this victory so sweet. Russians were head and shoulder above canadians therefore Russia 5:4 Canada+Zebras. |
