Right on Ray....you know if you ask either coach today wheter they always had the right guys on the ice at the right time....they'll prolly say no....if u ask the D men if they always make the correct read.....or moved the puck the right way in an instant of a decision....they'd prolly say no....Ref's are human....they make mistakes....it just seems some parts of the world are so fixtated on this aspect of the game that it permeates every discussion at some point or another...I saw a blatant too many men not called against Russia as welll...so what?....it happens.....I believe it's Nyquil....maybe Ray....in the past that has said that officiating is tangential to the game and i agree with that...

Hey...........i may have went over the top calling so and so scumbags or whatnot but think about it everyone for a minute.

I've been on the old IHWC.net boards for a few years now and when Russia was failing each and every year...............and each and every year I (and anyone here who has been there too will confirm this)....... had to endure a boatload of their fans who would come to our board and any board that would listen to their whining and crying that there was a conspiracy amongst the refs and that Canada cheated to win and it cost Russia the Gold.

And HF boards was full of it too.

So this year they win (and in Canada to boot)....................and you can't believe how tough a loss that is for a huge fan like me. But i can take it, you've got to lose with some decency if you expect to enjoy your wins with any!! And i had no trouble going to their board and congratulating them on it...hey,they deserved it!! I'm a real fan not a sookie baby kid!!!

So keeping this in mind ( and the way the lions share of their fans have handled their failures on the boards over the years i certainly was not compelled by any decency on their part to do so).....i still gave them respectful congrats!!

So as tough as the loss was for this particular guy if there was one consolation in the whole bloody catastrophie..............it was that i obviously wasn't going to have to hear that old tired BS sookie baby song and dance for once!!

and then i come to OUR Canadian board and what do i see from SOME of them (and let's face it, one is too much!!)............................complaints about the refs!!!

I mean, can you believe it? Even when they won and in the manner it happened there are still some bozos who think the refs were rooting for Canada and were ripping them off?

Well..............if anyone can't understand why i lost it over that silliness then you've lost your mind.

No apologies to them from this guy.............................none required!!!
