Yeah, Norway lost to monsters, unfortunately monsters managed to score only 2 goals, allowing one, but anyway, win is a win, though playing so Canada would have problems with so far looking just great Russia and Czeck Rep., problems if not collapse...

It reminded me of watching the all-star game, the guys were trying all these really tricky finesse plays - entertaining to watch - but not the way to score goals.

We were lucky not to get that late high stick....another 5:3 and Norway just might have pulled off another Belarus!

Yeah exactly.. Actually there should have been 5:3 before that aswell. I dont know how many did noticed but Leclaire shot the puck over the boards from the own zone. After all Norway got a 5:3 but only for 6 seconds if I remember right. Some bad calls,yes but the win is a win and in every game you are just playing to win

Our guys took it easy as I hoped. It was pond hockey, having fun but scoring when we needed to. Its what we always do. If it was an elimination game, it would have been entirely different. We invented it, we perfected it as the grea-*test*-('") nation in the world.

I wouldn't worry about this game.....Canada always plays like this in the first few games....we tied Denmark, lost to Norway etc, etc....by the way, I don't even think the Russians are the biggest threat....might be the Czechs...yes, I know Russia beat them in OT...but the Czechs had the lead most of the way and outshot Russia someting like 43 to 27...and they just thumped the Swiss 5-0....watch out!!

I do also think that Czechs are the threat number one to Russia, because a) they play better than any other team here, maybe levelling Russians, they lost to Russia already and need no more motivation if they meet again.

Also USA is dangerous. I know Canada beat them, but hardly, and occasinally, being worse in the game, oh, yes, I forgot, the reason was that they did not need to play well, if was not playoff, on the other hand, Russians, of course, did need as if it were playoff and showed their best against Czechs, LOL Terrific logic you have, guys

This is a stupid set up made for the glories of the rest of the world. Everyone knows we are the grea-*test*-('"). I suggest we change the format of this tournament - let the rest of the world have their fun deciding who is "best" (ha) then the winner of that can play us. That way we wouldnt have to humiliate so many teams and waste so much time.

I wouldn't count on another repeat of last tilts 2-1 result between these 2 teams.
