One point difference in favor of Russia, provided the Russians don't let the refs get on their nerves too much. At least these morons aren't refereeing, they really need eyeglasses by the way. This is the worst I've seen in the NHL.

The also discounted a goal that Turco scored on himself and counted Dallas' goal that was scored by a skate, to give Dallas a 3-1 "win", their only "win" in the series. So the referees can make or break a game, and keep in mind refs, the fans will be watching, and umm, we will send eyeglasses to your office as the ultimate insult and we will cheer everytime the likes of the above-mentioned quartet of refs get hurt. Should be a great game by the two superior teams. Good luck to Russia, they have great players, but Canada will win 6-3.

The Heatley line gives Canada a slight edge on offense, defenses (strangely enough) are equally bad, and Nabokov gives Russia a slight edge in goal.

Home crowd would energize the Canadians, but would also put extra pressure on them. Russians, on the other hand, are not favorites to win, so they won't be under as much pressure.

Hitchcock has more experience on paper, but I haven't been too impressed by his tactical flexibility and bench management so far.
Bykov is young, but he already has one WCH as a head coach under his belt. And he has Russians playing more as a team as they have in many years.

All in all, I wouldn't be surprised to see OT.

P.S. Russia has never lost a world championship game with Sergei Fedorov in a line-up

The Russian D & Team D looked excellent vs. Suomi...The Best I've seen in years...But I can't tell whether this was something of an aberration or NOT ? ...Finns seemed strangely lethargic ?...& had a couple of brain cramps with those 2 too many men penalties ln the 3rd Period...Finns had been playing well, in their previous 3 games or so, BUT their semi final effort was PURE SHYTE !??!

It's true that our own Team Canada D hasn't met expectations, thus far, & our offensive firepower has kinda hidden this fact...It's quite strange to talk about Team Canada , any Team Canada, be it Senior Mens or Junior Boyz, where our D hasn't been nearly flawless/ our ACE in the hole...

One thing that ought to be said though is that TC's D, most notably Burns and Green , are very dangerous OFFENSIVELY... & maybe that's where the CANUCK TRUMP CARD IS HIDDEN !
