у ирландцев из пианины вылез укуренный попугай Кеша, да так что у людей их кот сбежал в другую комнату и забился в дальний угол со страха...

Well he's not too bad. I watch Eurovision every year, it's a big event in UK........a big joke though........Terry Wogan is the commentator on the BBC and he can be hilarious sometimes with his comments ......

Anyway, should be entertaining..

The only Marilyn Manson ( http://www.marilynmanson.com/ ) singing for Azerbajan or Grupa Leningrad ( http://www.leningradspb.ru/ ) doing it for Latvia could win the annual Eurovision frog-party in case of musical contense .

All the others are dumb, especially Dima Iblan - trhe tramp on the ice .

Seems, people "eat" everything advertised by TV...
The very first years of Eurovision, started as a continue of San-Remo Fest, were like normal "young-singer"-competition. But, every year, the level is falling deeply down...

I think it always was a joke.......only a higher quality joke... I have a few favorite winers...ABBA (Sweden with Waterloo) being one of them, then there's Johny Logan (Ireland) Toto Cutugno (Italy) and Sandra Kim(Belgium)...

I also liked Dana International (Israel) and Katrina and the Waves (English)...LOL

The song con-*test*-('") is of great fun, great show and getting better year after year.
It is getting more like the Cannes Film Festival. It is a GREAT Party. Be there and make a show of yourself. That is the motto. It is the showcase for young and unknown artists as well.
Before the con-*test*-('") and the performers were too serious. Nowadays it is also a huge media event and becoming more and more commercial. Now there are record companies who take care of the marketing stuff for the artists and songs behind-the-scenes. They are professionals and want get their money back for the investments made into artists.

If you will watch the con-*test*-('") at http://www.eurovision.tv, you will see that the competition is sponsored by Raiffaisen bank, Wella and others. The more the event is getting sponsor money, the better for the competition.

This year the event is much more professional.

Dima Bilan is not a "one day wonder". He has a long career as singer in Russia and long education at the best music schools in Russia.

There is no business like show business!! But semi-finals of the con-*test*-('") do suck! There should be only one competition day and one great final in which all the EBU member countries could participate. Now the rules also do favor certain countries an those are automatically in the final. Don't miss the final on Saturday: The new European star will be borning...

You are right it's great fun but not art by any means...........any old clown can take part and the voting also doesn't favor the best song.....people tend to vote for a country not a song, it's commercial all right when you think about the money they are getting from all of those phone votes......I can tell you now in advance who will give how many points to which country before i even heard any of the songs..................

I will still watch it for a laugh.........and because there is nothing better on TV...........And Terry Wogan is getting more and more hilarious as the show progresses and he gets more drunk and outrageous....well no one really can listen to that sober can they.....

Those countries put up most of the money to run the con-*test*-('") so of course they have the right to take part in the final without having to compete in the semifinals....

I also do watch the show.. Sometimes don't know why though

Our entry is quite silly and funny in a way, but I can't say it's the worst! Ireland and Estonia had such hilarious songs this year

My favourites are Israel's and Turkey's songs! Nice melody really!

и всё-таки Иблан - на каком йазыге пел? я тока понял одну фразу "киф мы цум ёр хард". когда в третий раз поедет на евровизию, пусть ещё Волочкову возьмёт, хор зайчегоф-попрыгайчегоф и коробку ледовую с Ходынки на время.

вощем, заслуженную победу должен был получить Eminem - за то, что не пел и не приезжал.
