Wouldn't have it any other way....braek the jink by going thru Russia....literally and figueratively....
I think Russia has a better offence than the Swedes & Russias D isn't as good as Swedens...
so me thinks good for us!
GOOOO Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you win.........you have to!!!
A classic hockey rivalry renewed....
What an awesome way to finish the tournament.
I'm still pretty confident about winning the gold though.
it's freakin unbelievable!!
let's get it on!!
Come on Canada, please win.
I hate Russia with a passion, both in the political and the sporting sphere.
Before all hell breaks loose, let me just clear up that I love the Russian culture. Kandinsky is great, and some of my favourite books are by Russians (The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov and Glory by Nabokov).
I don't know any Canadian authors, enlighten me.
We don't have any because writing is not manly enough.
Sorry.

Just to name a few: Hugh Maclennan, Margaret Atwood, John McCrae and of course Roch Carrier
Have heard of Atwood.
And I know in terms of cinéma you have Cameron. By the way, I remember a time when on the old IHWC boards when there was an argument about Swe vs. Can directors. And some Canadian thought of James Cameron (great director). Instead of saying Aliens and Terminator, this guy used Titanic as an example. What a waste... I used Ingmar Bergman
I read ' The Gulag Archipelago', ' Cancer Ward' & ‘ A DAY IN THE LIFE OF IVAN D- ( won't even try to spell it ??? ) ...Those were all friggen great rus books...yah , same author I know... Also read another great book about the Rus Gulag...but can't recall title just now...**EDIT: It was called ' VOKUTA'**
...read all those RUS books maybe 25 years ago...

We eat gruel for breakfast and at supper we slam down half cooked hamburger (we don't drain off the grease)......................and wash it all down with some ski-doo oil.
who has time to write sissy books when you're so busy being so damn manly?
