10 - 29 posts ....Member
30 < posts........ Advanced Member

It's pretty boring and I can change it........even add more (than just 3)

So if anyone has any good ideas to make it more fun please let me know

0-9 - One Game Wonder
1-29 - Rookie
30-99 - 2nd Liner
100-499 - 1st Liner
500-999 - Superstar
1000 -2499 Legend
2500 -> Hockey God

We here just TALKING about hockey, not playing, so i'm not sure that we must use only ice-hockey terms. Some terms - mabye. And if we want this board alive for years we must to make more distance between ranks. Becaurse with Swissleaf's system we all gonna be hockey gods after 1-2 seasons. Imagine it - all users Superstars and hockey Gods

I know forum with interesting system of ranking. They took the distance between ranks in 600 posts, every user message system counting like one point. And there is interesting names of ranks:

0-599 - Newbie
600-1199 - Rookie
1200-1799 - Disciple
1800-2399 - Here we can start include some hockey terms, for example, Power Forward
2400-2999 - Master
3000-3599 - Ice Killer
3600-4199 - Ice King

After that distance between ranks increases up to 800 posts!
4200-4999 - Winner
5000-5799 - Champion
5800-6599 - Mega Star
6600-7399 - Monster
7400-8199 - Veteran
8200-8999 - Patriarch
9000-9799 - Old School

After that distance between ranks increases up to 1200 posts!
9800-10999 - Legend
11000-12199 - The Great One
12200-13399 - Colossus
13400-14599 - Godlike
14600-15799 - Truly Hockey God
15800-16999 - > V.I.P

I'm not ansist on this system but beleive me it's really that way to underline members individuality and status. I really know that to reach even Champion rank you will need 2 or 3 years of daily writing on this board. But we gonna make it for years isn't it?

BARTLEBY, nice titles, but too much messages to write. Ok, Champion in 3 years: 5000:3=about 1667 messages per year!!!Too much I guess.

No problem it's all discussible, we only see what we generally want. I can make lower posts requirements for rank. But firstly we must understan does we want this system or not.

So any oppinions about this rank system? We wnat it or we are not? Lucy?
