Mä olin taas tuomarilinjasta hieman sitä mieltä et valitettavasti jos se nolla toleranssi pitäis noissa peleissä niin tommosta sit olis toi nykykiekkoilu. Mitään ei sais tehdä vaan kokoajan olisi jompikumpi jäähy boksissa. Tosin jättihän siinä tuomari sitten pari kertaa viheltämättä selviä jenkkijäähyjä ja toisessa päässä sit tapahtu lavanpäälle astuminen ja suomipoika boksiin.

Mut mut,hienoa et me kumminkin voitettiin toi peli kaikkien noiden vaiheiden jälkeen ja suomi kieltämättä ansaitsi voiton,siitä ei ole epäilystäkään. Jotenkin tuntu et me haluttiin tota voittoa niin paljon enemmän kun yhdysvaltalaiset. YV tosiaan alko toimiin kun ne pakit saatiin sinne viivaan. Mil ihmeellä muka suomalaiset osais pelata YV´tä viidellä hyökkääjällä kun koko ikämme junnuista lähtien suomalaiset on aina pelanneet perus YV koostumuksella. Noh sitä voidaan sit miettiä . Tosin tohon AV´seen en ole aina niin tyytyväinen,vois hieman miettiä et ketä sinne laittaa.......

Silti USA´n peliin olin erittäinkin pettynyt tosin ihan hyvä et meitä vastaan oli noin huonoja. Muutenkin tos lopussa kun kaverit vaan naureskeli viivalla niin tuli semmonen fiilis et halusko ne edes voittaa tota peliä vai onks ne niin hölmöä väkeä että se pisti naurattamaan kun Bluesin maalintekijä joka harvemmin on tappelussa pääsi niistämään Salmelan nenän auki,noh tyhmää kummiskin,oli miten oli.

Mut mut tästä on hyvä lähteä illan kanada matsiin . Siitä odotan taas kunnon peliä.. Tulee kalliiks nää kisat kun joka päivälle täytyy käydä ostamassa jotain kaupasta "vaikka tekee kipeää,niin ei haittaa" .

OK I don't understand a word of what you're saying I'm just really dissapointed in the whole match At the top of it in referees you're first goal was a huge mistake, wtf, do you think it was fair-well at least ok to accept that goal?

Sure I don't want your players to stand up and pro-*test*-('") because who does that? The referees are the only ones to blame and you really needed the goal. But I don't get those sudden acting capabilities of Tuomo Ruutu...Was it really necessary?

I want Finland to win, but not this way. I'm just interested in what's your opinion on the whole pretty screwed match.

I'd say the team, the fans and the media
in Finland agrees with you regarding
whether it was a goal or not.

It wasn't. However, we can't be blamed
for the incompetence by the referees.
And they were favoring the opponent for
two periods IMO.

Personally I don't feel good about "the
goal" itself at all, but I say we would
have won the game anyways - the 3rd
period was a one way train in our favor.
SOG was 25-7 in the 3rd.

Now, the US-coach admitted that the
better team won, but of course he was
rightfully upset about "that goal".
However, he also agreed that the ref'ing
was bullshit all game through - not only
with that "goal". We suffered a lot from
that in the first two periods - and USA
scored twice because of that.

Regarding Ruutu's dive or whatever,
we've had similar things blown against
us so many times, that I don't really care
about whether it was a dive or not. It was
called and there's nothing much we can
do about it.

They will always happen and with every
team. I don't see a point in pointing the
finger towards a player or a team - I rather
say that I am quite disappointed with the
ref's of the game.

Nothing is lost nor won for either team
though. Luckily this was not a QF-game,
as in that case it would have left an even
more bitter taste in the mouth.

I truly hope that the ref's in the games yet
to come are more competent and that the
teams playing can decide who's best
according to the rules.

Well Finland, sounds like the Hockey Gods tried to throw a scare into u last nite, with those young Yanks tying it up late in the 3rd...

BUT in the end, Ur Boyz FAIRLY Prevailed...

There was a moment or two there when I though I was going to die. Literally. I mean I think I know what a heart attack feels like. That USA's shot a few seconds before Lepistö scored... I thought it had to go in. But thank God, it didn't!!!!!! So there I was, moments later, at 4:33 am, with a fever and a headache, laughing hysterically .

Thanks Lions, once again. Now we'll have some borscht for a Friday snack, and then... then... either some meatballs or a couple of Molsons .
