As it is only 2 days until the start of the championships and the usual message boards are still not up (and I don't think they will be made available this year) I have decided to create a forum in the same fashion so each nation participating in the championship can discuss their teams' progress.

I hope that many people will register and have fun as we usually have each year. If this forum is successful I will leave it on all year round and for next year I will make new sections so it can continue....so I think it is worth registering.

New members after they register will have to validate their account clicking on a link which they get in an email. If you encounter any problems please feel free to contact me. I have enabled validating members to post in this section. Understandably because I don't want the forum spamed I have not allowed them to post in any other section of the forum.

So everyone welcome again and have fun!

And make sure to let know as many people as possible about this place

Wow! Alright! Very nice Lucy...I was afraid that all of that ranting and uhm other stuff that goes along with the emotions of rooting for a nation during Int'l hockey caused the usual message boards to just -shall we say evaporate. This is great! Well done -though I'm afraid that a lot of the usual posters have given up like I almost did. Either way, thank you.

I think Lucy, as a head moderator of this forum must have a halpers. I mean Lucy have to choose a moderators for every national board to prevent nationalistic and any other problems. So i have to say that russian veteran fan - 13CHERTEI - would be a great person to moderate russian message board as he did it on official message boards five or six years in a row.

Thank you Lucy. I'm still hopeful the official boards will be up, but if not, this could be a nice alternative, as long as it fills up with fans.

Yeah we'll find out soon enough if they enable them or not, I am not too hopeful though anymore, so in the meantime let's just try to promote this place so as many people find it as possible.


I am planning to make some moderators later when there are more people and I will listen to suggestions,

The Russian board was the only one to have mods the past few years and the rest were unmoderated and it was a pain with too much trolling and spaming, maybe thats one of the reason the boards are not up anymore.
