I believe protocol in video goal judge's rulebook is to view the evidence more than once to be completely sure.

To rush to judgement as this guy's comment can be interpreted as such, has no part in sport and hence the allegations of wrongdoing do have some merit.

Maybe if there was a witness to the guy's apparent attempts to summon he referees' attention.....

Maybe what he did was PURE STUPIDITY & nothing more...I still doubt it but...if this happened in the NHL...REST ASSURED ...the matter WOULD BE investigated further...so all I'm saying is that USAHockey ( if they so desire ) are justified in asking that the IIHF do this ...and likewise IMO would be justified in asking that their own officials should be a party to said investigation...

Now if the US doesn't want to pursue the matter further...that's their perogative...but I still think the Onus falls of the IIHF to do so...

Now maybe they have...and maybe everyone's satisfied with what they've uncovered...Sorry BUT then the onus STILL falls on the IIHF to Discuss their Investigation/fault findings publically , in a News Release etc...

So far the IIHF has said ALMOST NOTHING...on the matter..

Again that Simply wouldn't happen/ WOULD NEVER FLY IN THE NHL...
