This is a tough tourney every year and you have'nt lost a game yet............think you guys are going to roll over everyone?

if you're undefeated i'd say you better take another look at the job the guy is doing.

I'm sorry, but you just don't always win... I know it's hard, but let me tell you: you can survive it! Just go in front of the mirror, look yourself in the eye and say: this year we'll finish second. The first time is the hardest, but it gets easier after that so keep repeating it. Ummm... Shedden wasted 14 PPs against Latvia, by e.g. putting Saku Koivu at the blue line. Whatthahell was he thinking??? That could've sank us, thank heavens we got that 2-1 goal. And he keeps giving too much time to the first two fields, Finland wins as a team, not with its individuals like Russia and Canada. We don't have that top scorer so we need even our fourth line.

I know we don't always win but we can win anywhere and we win more then anyone else.

jinxes don't count with us..................if this had'nt been the first time this event had been held in Canada ever this jinx jazz would'nt even be talked about because there would be no jinx.

Because we would have won at least one here long after that last CCCP win.

As a Finn fan.......................i have no doubt you do.

Canada wins with it's team play too, probably as much if not more then any other team.

as a matter of fact thats what we usually win with more then anything at this tourney because we always have to come over there and play on an ice surface that favours the European teams(we don't play on that size as you know).........................and we rarely have our top players.

You don't win at this thing and especially in a euro tournament without playing as a team.

look at last year......................we hardly had a team of nhl stars and the European press was skeptical we would even win a medal let alone take home Gold right on the Russians turf.


Russia had all the big stars.

yet we all know how that turned out.

and thats called teamwork.

You dont have a top scorer? what do you call olli Jokinen and teemu selanne?........... high school players?

As for the Koivu on the point thing......well,he saw something he thought might work and tried it out!! those are the games to try those things!! ..........................the early games against teams like Latvia!!

i think your guys coverage is much better there then what we get here for this tournament so maybe you've gotten to see a few more games.

LOL ....that was dump idea,my fried .... he also put Jokinen to line ...in usa game .....any of 98% of all drunk Finn hockey fans in bar can tell to Shedden ...that dos not work .... ....well ,lucky for him ,Jokinen get that match penalty and he has to make some changes ..... and.. pang .... 3 pp goal has become (even that one should not be counted )

I think he should make some moves to our lines todays game .... first line need some hard worker ....Peltonen is too soft for that job ....just put Pihlström there ....he´s young,fast and dont scare to hit hard....perfect guy to play whit Saku&Teemu

...Ruutu-Koivu-J.Jokinen is fine ......3rd line can be Peltonen-O.Jokinen/Kapanen- Hyvönen/Pirnes/Bergeheim (well..he got some kind of injury now)

yeah .... i think nearly all games show in tv ... but i need to sleep as well ,so i dont see all of them
